What you wear should support the portrait, not compete with the relationship you are trying to preserve.
Simple clothing usually photographs beautifully around horses.
Start with pieces that fit well and feel comfortable. Neutral colors, subtle textures, boots, denim, dresses, jackets, and classic riding clothing can all work depending on the setting and the story we are creating.
Avoid large logos, extremely busy patterns, and anything that makes you feel unlike yourself.
We also consider your horse’s coloring, the barn or location, the season, and where you hope to display the finished artwork.
You do not need to figure this out alone. Wardrobe planning is part of the portrait experience.
