An equestrian portrait session is deliberately unhurried.

We begin with the plan we created beforehand, but the horse ultimately helps determine the pace.

We may start with simple standing portraits, walk together, work near the barn, move into a field, or create horse-only portraits. If your horse needs a break, we take one.

You do not need to know how to pose, and your horse does not need to know how to “pose” either.

I guide you through where to stand, what to do with your hands, where to look, and how to interact naturally with your horse.

The goal is not to manufacture a perfect moment.

It is to create enough calm and direction for the real relationship to come through.
